Arafarma Group S.A. is a company dedicated to the study, research and constant development that through innovative forms/formulas provides answers to human problems by improving the quality of life, safety and well-being of patients/persons.

This development involves a series of phases, which are detailed below:

1. Discovery Phase:
Group of scientists and professionals with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry who evaluate the potential alternatives that are presented for the development of products.

2. Chemical and biotechnological research phase:
Development of syntheses, processes and synthesis intermediates to obtain the desired molecules, with the subsequent characterization, analysis and control.

3. Pharmacological research phase:
It focuses on the study of the activity of the potential molecules, resulting from a selection of possible new active principles and the results obtained, after carrying out the corresponding preclinical studies, in relation to their pharmacodynamic, toxicological and pharmacokinetic characteristics. These results meet the expectations of the group of scientists who took part in the Discovery stage.

4. Galenic research phase:
Focuses on the development of the most suitable pharmaceutical forms that will allow vectorization of the active ingredient(s) for maximum efficacy and tolerance.

In this phase, the selection of the pharmaceutical form, the choice of excipients, the desirable physicochemical and organoleptic characteristics and the best stability of the active ingredient are studied.

In addition, the originality of the pharmaceutical presentation is evaluated jointly with the commercial area, in order to favor adherence and compliance with the dosage, differentiating us from the rest of the competitors in the market.

5. Clinical research phase:
It focuses on the design and performance of the studies required to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of the products developed before their commercialization.
