Arafarma Group bases its business strategy on its collaboration with different partners who work together on pharmacological projects in different therapeutic areas or products for improving quality of life. The relationship is based on the WIN-WIN rule, in which Arafarma Group contributes its experience in chemical, galenic and clinical research, in submitting and obtaining patents, and on the industrialisation capacity of the projects, in addition to experience in Regulatory Affairs and approval of registrations, thereby achieving the marketing of innovative products with great expectation of success.
We are specialised in offering research services and/or contract manufacturing, especially using our delayed release and slow release technologies. We consider cooperation with our customers as the central element for growth and progress – both our own and that of our customers – thereby ensuring the future of our company and its competitiveness.
Arafarma Group manufacturing plant consists of tailor-made state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
It is comprised of:
1º) An area for chemical synthesis and another area for biotechnological fermentation processes for the production of raw materials.
2º) A pharmaceutical plant for producing solid and semi-solid, oral and topical forms.
3º) A diagnostic test plant.
In addition to our internal production, we can offer manufacturing of batches of different scales, whether pilot batches or industrial batches in order to facilitate registration of products, including the necessary quality controls and corresponding quality assurance.
The pharmaceutical forms manufactured include, among others: pellets, granules, tablets, effervescent tablets, capsules, single-dose sachets, liquids, suspensions, aerosols, gels, ointments, etc.
Quality Assurance is the system implemented to ensure that the manufactured products comply with all authorised requirements from procurement of materials to marketing the finished product, following stability tests under all ICH conditions, as well as long-term stability of products using the corresponding analytical techniques for registration.
This department is responsible for the submission and monitoring of registrations required in each case until they are approved, and for keeping the registrations up-to-date over time, as well as for pharmacovigilance as required throughout the marketable life of the products developed.
Fast, efficient and profitable management in the Regulatory Affairs area, supported by the expertise of our specialists and by their experience in the areas of quality, clinical work, manufacturing and registration of ethical, generic, and advertising medicinal products and medical devices, etc.
